Background

Mount Everest stands taller than any other mountain at an elevation of 8848 m, and is one of the topmost reasons for climbers from around the world come on this adventurous journey. Everest is attempted by almost 1000 passionate climbers every year and only a few get to accomplish their ultimate dream. There are two major routes that are connected to the peak of the summit- one approaching the summit from the southeast in Nepal (known as the standard route) and the other from the north in Tibet, China. The tourists that come to Nepal for the expedition climb through the South Col and South-East Ridge, which is comparatively, an easier option according to the majority of those who have climbed Everest. The most favorable season to attempt the summit is before monsoon season, around the month of May.

Navigating your way to the top of the mountain is definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity but as they say, with every achievement comes pressure and challenges. On the way to the summit, climbers come across many unexpected and expected hindrances these can be struggling with the high altitude, harsh weather conditions, avalanches and even sheer exhaustion. However, trekking agencies like us are there to help you train hard enough to overcome these obstacles and successfully succeed in achieving your goal of climbing Mt. Everest.

We organize the best expeditions and emphasis will be given to your health and safety. Physical Condition & Experience Requirements
To achieve something extraordinary, working hard for it is a must. Even though, Mt. Everest does not require an extreme level of technical skills as in the Kanchenjunga trek, it is still a very challenging route to climb, even for experienced mountaineers. Therefore, first and foremost trekkers need to be physically fit to be able to get permission to attempt to climb the summit. Environmental factors such as unpredictable weather, oxygen level dropping above 7,000m and various other hazards makes the climb very challenging. Hence, previous experience on rock and ice climbing especially above 7,000m, ascending or descending on fixed ropes along a steep technical terrain is essential.

Best Time to Travel to Everest Expedition North Ridge Tibet
The spring season of March to May is the best time for Everest expedition. The months of April and May and then again October and November are also the classic climbing period. However, the summer months of monsoon rains and the winter months from December to February are considered the most unfavorable time for trekking.

My husband and I embarked on the Everest Base Camp trek with Jangbu during November 2013. It was undoubtedly the most incredible trip of our lives – with Jangbu. So if you are looking for someone with A-class experience and the incredible personal touch, you need not look any further!
