Background

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is one of the most popular trekking trips in Nepal. This is a relatively easy trek, when compared with the other high-altitude treks in Nepal, and offers beginners an opportunity to explore the majestic region. The Ghorepani Poon Hill panorama trek cuts through beautiful rhododendron forests and fascinating indigenous Gurung and Magar villages, with a great opportunity to experience the culture and tradition of the Nepalese countryside. You will encounter exotic birds and sub-tropical valleys, all set below the Annapurna range with the picturesque peak of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Peak) dominating the skyline. The trek offers spectacular views of high mountain peaks such as Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna (8,091m) and more. This trek provides a novice trekker with an experience of a lifetime and is sure to initiate a love for trekking and nature in a memorable and compelling manner.

We, at Into the Himalaya Treks and Expedition strive hard to organize the best trekking programs, placing the highest priority on all the safety aspects. My husband and I embarked on the Everest Base Camp trek with Jangbu during November 2013. It was undoubtedly the most incredible trip of our lives – with Jangbu. So if you are looking for someone with A-class experience and the incredible personal touch, you need not look any further!
