Background

Around Manaslu also Manaslu Circuit with Larky la pass, is a mesmerizing trek, from the famous ancient Gorkha Kingdom in the mid-west of Nepal. The trek follows the Budi-Gandaki River upstream, from a sub-tropical climate through to the high altitude Tibetan climate. You will encounter magnificent views of worlds 8th highest peak, Mt. Manaslu at 8,163m, including spectacular views of the other glorious peaks that straddle the border with Tibet. Once we have reached the top of Larky La, a downhill path leads through a beautiful forest of pines, rhododendrons, oaks and magnolia trees, meeting the Annapurna Circuits Trail. After reaching Dharapani the journey continues towards Besisahar, offering stunning views of Mt. Manaslu and the entire Annapurna mountain range including the distinctive Mt. Lamjung, and time through traditional mid hill villages. This trek is getting increasingly popular as an alternative trek within the Annapurna region in the western part of Nepal.

We, at Into the Himalaya Treks and Expedition strive hard to organize the best trekking programs, placing the highest priority on all the safety aspects. We believe that our planning, logistics and experience partnered with your patience and enthusiasm will help you attain the moments that you cherish for the rest of your life.

Physical Condition & Experience Requirements
Around Manaslu Trek usually requires 5-6 hours of walking every day with 8-10 hours required on certain days, such as when going through high passes. Past hiking experience would be an asset, but no technical skill is required for this trip. Activities such as jogging and regular exercise for couple of months before this trek would be beneficial for the physical fitness required for these kinds of treks. This should be relatively easier for those who have experience walking/trekking in a high-altitude environment.

Reviews

My husband and I embarked on the Everest Base Camp trek with Jangbu during November 2013. It was undoubtedly the most incredible trip of our lives – with Jangbu. So if you are looking for someone with A-class experience and the incredible personal touch, you need not look any further!
